Join us for fun and engaging dinners at top-notch restaurants in New Jersey and NYC where good food, ambience, and delightful conversations bring people together. Dinner gatherings will vary in size, with some hosting around 10 ppl and others welcoming larger groups.

The menu features prime steaks, elegant seafood dishes, creative appetizers, beautiful salads, and plenty of choices beyond steak. I’ve been many times and always enjoy the food, service, and overall experience

We have many members who come to our dinners regularly, and we also love welcoming new people at every event. If you’ve been thinking about joining us but haven’t attended yet, this is a perfect first dinner. Our members are warm, welcoming, interesting, and easy to talk to, so you’ll feel comfortable from the start.
We’ll gather first at the spacious bar to mingle before dinner, then sit down together for a memorable summer evening.

When: Thursday, July 30, dinner at 7:00 PM. Arrive by 6:30 PM to mingle at the beautiful, spacious bar.
Where: Char Steakhouse, 2377 US Highway 22, Scotch Plains, NJ
Group size: 32 people, seated at tables of 6 and 4
Cost: Everyone receives their own check

Parking: On-sitePlease note: To make individual checks possible for our large group, Char Steakhouse requests that each guest order a main dish, not just an appetizer. Please review the menu beforehand to be sure this works for you.
Our dinners often fill very quickly. If you find yourself on the waitlist, please check your Meetup messages because I often move people from the waitlist to Going as spots open up.
