At 12PM & 2PM on Sunday 6 Sep, we're hosting a small kimchi making class in a private kitchen in Southbank. This time, we're making three different kinds of kimchi in one class. 1. 파김치 (Spring Onion Kimchi) 2. 양배추김치 (Cabbage Kimchi) 3. 마늘쫑김치 (Garlic Scape Kimchi) The session will be led by a Korean chef Asher(기훈) who will guide the process from start to finish, showing a simple and repeatable way to make kimchi at home. During the session, everyone will make their own personal portion of kimchi, following each step together. Apron, gloves, and trays will be provided, so you can join without any preparation. Throughout the process, there will be small tastings. At the end of the session, you'll take home the kimchi you made yourself. This class is designed to feel easy to follow, so anyone can make kimchi at home after. This session is $39. Artsy Afternoon @ O3Space ✨

Join us for a chill artsy afternoon, bring any art supplies you like 👩‍🎨🎨📝✨ Access to O3Space requires you to have the minimum ( FREE! ) membership that you sign up for when you download their app. Simply download the O3Space app, create a profile and use the QR code at the gate to enter/exit the building. The gate is located inside the tram on the right side of the cafe ☕️🚊 The free membership allows you in the building for up to 3 hours per week, if you go over they might charge you so make sure to use the QR code on your way out!! A Creative Morning in Nature— *spring landscape sketching this month* :) (Self-Guided) Saturday, 5 September, 10:00am — 12:00pm University of Divinity (outside gardens) 90 Albion Road, Box Hill 3128 This is a quiet, self-guided (untutored) space to slow down, create, and spend time alongside others. Please bring your own materials. It’s a morning to create unhurriedly in the beautiful spring — to make, reflect, and simply be. Through art, we hope to create a gentle space for connection, encouragement, and shared presence. Mandala Symbolism: Personal Mandala Drawing Sessions

‘*Mandalas have been used as an aid to contemplation and meditation by various cultures all over the world for over five thousand years. The word ‘mandala’ comes from the Sanskrit word for ‘sacred or magic circle’ and represents symbolic drawing inside a circle.’* Georgina Fode Join Art Therapist and Theosophist Nina Mazurek on the first Thursday of each month for an hour of hands-on mandala work - a Melbourne Theosophical tradition first established by Georgina Fode. Within a safely held and respectful space, each attendee will be guided to create an oil crayon mandala at their own pace, in response to a chosen topic and preceded by a ‘remember who you are’ meditation. Each class will be a nurturing opportunity to explore our inner yearnings for wholeness and containment, that may help to propel self-healing and enable further understanding of the self. Drawing ability is not necessary. People with all levels of drawing skills, including those who think they can not draw at all, will benefit and progress through this work, producing mandalas with deep personal meaning; reflections of their inner journeys’ progress. \*\*New Cuban Courses will commence Tuesday 7th July x 6 weeks\*\* Rueda de Casino – is a progressive Cuban-style salsa class and a fun way to learn salsa. Its fast paced, danced in a circle and changing partners flowing from one partner to the next Cuban Salsa (Rueda) BEGINNER LEVEL 7.00pm - 8.00pm This course is for absolute beginner to beginner plus students. The first 4 weeks we will cover Cuban Salsa fundamentals, Cuban Flow body movement and basic Cuban steps. The last 2 weeks we will use moves and steps learnt in a progressive wheel (Rueda) pattern. This class can only be purchased as a 6 week course.
