About us
Please read the following before requesting to join the group:
This group is for anyone in the Lower Bucks area looking to connect with others who share common interests. Whether you enjoy walks, hiking, eating out, attending music events, or simply socializing with like-minded individuals, this is the group for you. Let's explore all that Lower Bucks has to offer together and make new friends along the way. Join us for our upcoming meetups and create lasting memories with our vibrant and welcoming community of people mostly in the age range of 30 to 70 (no one over 18 will be turned away though). Also, to be a member of this group you need to have a picture of yourself (and only of yourself otherwise how do we know which one is you?) which includes your face but not necessarily just a "head shot" and no computer generated or animated pictures please. We want to see the real you. Also, signing up and attending an event is a committment. Please do not sign up if you have no serious intentions of attending the event (in other words don't treat signing up the same way you would "liking" something on facebook). Also, numerous no shows or "last minute" cancellations may result in removal from the group. You will also possibly be removed if you haven't attended at least one event in two years. If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions please reach out to Mike your organizer. We can't wait to meet you!

Nature Mural Walk
All are invited to join us for a Guided Walk celebrating Nature, Art, and Community.
We will meet at the “Welcome Kiosk” outside of the SLNC Visitors’ Center and begin our Nature Mural Walk from there.
On this Walk, we’ll visit the beautiful murals created (and maybe even currently in progress:) by amazing Local Artist of BristolWm. Roger Clark, whose artwork celebrates the plants, wildlife, and Natural beauty found throughout Silver Lake Nature Center.
The first mural, located on the front of the SLNC Visitors’ Center, was completed in 2009 with grant funding for supplies. Inspired by its success, Mr. Clark has generously volunteered his time, talent, and artistic expertise to personally fund and create each additional mural, leaving a remarkable legacy throughout the Nature Center, where many thousands of Visitors enjoy throughout all seasons!
This Walk will take us through MANY areas of the Nature Center Grounds/Trails, enjoying the peacefulness of the Forest and Lake while visiting the beautiful murals throughout. The flora and fauna featured on these murals are all local to SLNC.
Please scroll down to pre-register, as space is limited for this special Walk.
Cost: $5 per person or FREE for Friends of SLNC Members. Pre-registration is required for both Members and Non-members.
All proceeds benefit the nonprofit Friends of SLNC organization.
