Welcome to the LionHeart Hobby & Games Meetup Group!
We’re a locally owned game and hobby store based in Kyle, Texas, and our mission is simple: Helping humans do joyful things.
This group exists to bring people together around a shared love of games, miniatures, models, painting, roleplaying, and creative exploration. We host events that spark joy, connection, and skill-building in a welcoming, inclusive space.
Why join this group?
Because you want more play in your life. Because you believe that sitting around a table with family, friends, or even strangers can lead to something meaningful. And because there’s nothing quite like learning a new game, finishing a project, or stepping into a character and realizing—you’ve found your people.
Our events include:
- Ongoing Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, including our store-exclusive Explorers of Enteja
- “Learn to Play” nights featuring new and favorite board games
- Tournaments, casual play, and organized play for Magic: The Gathering, Warhammer, and board games
- Painting workshops, model building classes, and special sessions led by guest artists
- Seasonal camps and programs for kids
- Contests, casual meetups, and unforgettable one-day events like Mega Garage Sales and Free RPG Day

Anyone who loves games, storytelling, creativity, or just wants to try something new. Families, solo players, curious hobbyists, life-long enthusiasts—we’ve built this space for you. You don’t need to bring anything but your curiosity and your desire to have a great time. We’ll handle the rest.

Explorers of Enteja is an epic, store-exclusive campaign designed for in-store play. It's a great way to start your D&D journey.
Our Sunday sessions continue the unfolding story of Explorers of Enteja, a professionally written “storebrew” adventure that’s only run in a handful of hobby stores across the country. We’re proud to bring it to life right here in Kyle, Texas.
You don’t need to bring anything but a sense of adventure. Already have a level 1 character? Bring it! If not, we’ll help you create one when you arrive.
Four hours of adventuring for just $15. Bring a friend or come make new ones!

Monday Casual Commander

We play Commander every Monday at LionHeart Hobby. $7 gets you entry and can be used as store credit towards a pack of your choice. We play "Plinko for Promos" every Monday so everyone walks away with something!
Spots are limited so if you want to guarantee your spot, make a reservation here so we know you are coming! Book here for free and pay in store when you arrive.
Before You Play
There are a few things you need to prepare beforehand:
- Our community is super friendly to newer players, but this is not a learn-to-play event. Please complete the excellent, free tutorial on Magic Arena to learn the basics so you can hit the ground running!
- The Wizards Companion App (or the email address of your Wizards account). Play Arena? Great! Just use the email you signed up with!
- Your event ticket. We recommend RSVPing in advance; we have limited space and pre-registering guarantees your seat.

Cancellations/No Shows
- Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before the event begins. If you are late you risk forfeiting your spot to waitlisted participants.
- If after RSVPing you can no longer make the event, please cancel your ticket so that we can bring someone in off the waitlist!
