We're a friendly, inclusive LGBTQIA+ community bringing people together through free social events across London.
Whether you're coming alone or with friends, our events are all about meeting new people, making connections and having a great time!
### 🎉 WHAT WE DO
🎮 QGN – Queer Games Night
Our flagship social events! Enjoy boardgames, videogames, music and a huge variety of activities designed to bring people together.
You don't need to be a gamer! QGN is a general social where games are simply the icebreaker. Come for a drink, a chat or to make new friends.
🎤 Bar Socials & Karaoke – Relaxed evenings at Central Station and Rupert Street.
🎬 Cinema & Watch Parties – Films, favourite shows and shared experiences.
🌈 More Socials – Parties, nights out, outdoor activities, creative events and other community get-togethers.
### 👋 COMING ALONE?
Lots of our members attend solo! Our hosts are always happy to welcome newcomers, make introductions and help everyone feel included.
### ❤️ MEET YOUR HOSTS
Mark – Founder of LGBTQ+ LONDON & Organiser of QGN
Mark founded LGBTQ+ LONDON to create a welcoming community where people can meet, make friends and feel included.
His main focus is now QGN, which he personally organises and runs. These are lively, social-first events where games and activities help people connect naturally.
Kwashie – Bar Socials & Karaoke
Kwashie independently runs our popular Central Station and Rupert Street socials, bringing people together for relaxed evenings of drinks, conversation and optional karaoke.
Will – Cinema, Watch Parties & More
Will organises cinema outings, selected watch parties and other social events as opportunities arise.
Lu – Creative Events & Collaborations
Lu occasionally collaborates with Mark to bring her own event ideas and creative activities to the community.
Edd & Alessio – Blood on the Clocktower
Edd and Alessio run our popular Blood on the Clocktower sessions, bringing people together for evenings of bluffing, deduction and social gameplay.
Carl, Nicolas & Other Community Members – Nights Out & Socials
We're also lucky to have members like Carl and Nicolas who occasionally arrange nights out and other social gatherings, adding even more variety to our community.
### 🌈 A COMMUNITY BUILT FOR EVERYONE
LGBTQ+ LONDON was created to be a community for everyone, not just its founder.
Alongside QGN, the group provides a platform for other members to organise and host their own events.
Each host is responsible for organising and managing their respective events, with Mark focusing on running and developing QGN.
### 🙌 WANT TO HOST AN EVENT?
We're always looking for more people to get involved!
Whether you've got an idea for a social, want to try hosting for the first time or would prefer to collaborate with someone else, we'd love to hear from you.
You don't need experience — just enthusiasm, reliability and a genuine interest in bringing people together.

Our upcoming events are listed here on Meetup. Please RSVP whenever possible so hosts have an idea of attendance.
We also have optional WhatsApp chats for different events and interests, helping members stay connected between socials.

Our community is built on kindness, inclusion and making genuine connections.
If you see someone new, nervous or on their own, say hello and help them feel welcome.
Please respect personal boundaries, ask before messaging members privately and help us maintain a comfortable environment for everyone.

LGBTQ+ LONDON is entirely volunteer-run and relies on donations to survive.
All our events are free to attend, but maintaining the community comes with ongoing costs, including Meetup fees, equipment and event supplies.
