What we’re about
The purpose of this group is to socialize and make new friends in the Lake Oswego area for adults ages 20's-40's.
Let's stay connected, get out, and share in activities like pick up sports, board games, music, hikes, food & drink, and so on!
If you have any ideas for meetups just post in the comments or message me. I can then give you privileges so you can create an event!

LET'S PLAY SOME SERIOUS VOLLEYBALL! 🏐
- Skill Level: Advanced skill levels only. Please note that advanced is defined as those who have competed previously in tournaments and/or played volleyball in high school or college. Additionally, to keep things exciting, we will further be dividing up the players into advanced and intermediate via two different brackets for the doubles and then mix everybody together for the threes. Advanced players are determined by consensus from the hosts as well as an assortment of other players who continually come out to games. Therefore, come out (and often) and play hard to prove yourself to determine which bracket you'll be in for doubles!
- Schedule:
- 0930PT - Warm-up, stretch, introductions, etc (please be here on time, late-comers disrupt the bracket structure)
- 0945PT - Doubles
- ~1200PT - 3v3
- *1400PT - optional post-tournament restaurant hang
- Player Count: Doubles and 3v3.
- Partners will be randomly selected on the day before the event. If you are late to sign-up this may result in you and your possible team-mate having to play an extra game to seed into the bracket so that those who replied/arrived on time do not have their bracket position altered.
- Tournament will be held in a double-elimination style and brackets will be printed beforehand and brought to the event.
- We use a team randomizer app before games begin.
- Regular games are played to 15 points, semi-finals and finals matches play to 21.
- Court(s): Two sand courts and, when desired, a third grass court.
- Bathrooms: Next to courts.
- Supplies: If you have your own volleyball please bring it. If you have your own lines (measured for doubles) and/or nets (for grass volleyball) please bring those as well. Remember to bring drinks and snacks if need be.
- Waitlist: If you are on the waitlist, please message a host directly or on the event's comments to check in to find out status.
