What we’re about
This isn't so much a single's group, as much as it is a group of interesting, creative, and intellectual individuals, open to meeting new people and making new friends. Most attendees are in their upper 40's, 50's, and 60ish...but there isn't a strict rule about age. It is a very welcoming group, but if you are younger than most...we understand if you prefer a younger singles group. Don't be shy. It's time to do something different and make some new connections! :)
A recognizable self photo is a requirement of continued membership. Our group is about getting to know one another! At the same time, we do our best to look out for the safety of our members. Please use your first name is also ...not an alias in your profile. Our group is about meeting each other at events!

Time to head back to Prairie Fire for Wednesday happy hour at one of our favorite spots - Veritas Whiskey & Wine. Veritas is an American fusion restaurant and bar with an extensive drink menu, a chef driven eclectic American menu, 52 carefully curated wines by the glass and a unique whiskey selection. *This is a joint event with our partner group, KC Single Professionals Meeting Mixing & Friends. **Over 50 single professionals have already RSVP'd that they are coming! ***

Veritas Whiskey and Wine Grill - Food MenuIf you didn't try their delicious food or partake in a entree last time, give it a try! They offer a variety of charcuterie, small plates, burgers, salads, paella, seafood, and great steaks. Several members recommend their tasty salads (eg. Grilled Chicken, Ahi Tuna or Blackened Steak Salad), and seafood dishes eg. coconut shrimp, blackened trout, or coconut shrimp.
Some members will come early at around 4:30 P.M. to enjoy more of their happy hour before it ends at 6 P.M., but just come when you can after work! Our Meetup ends at 7 P.M., but frequently members stay later to continue chatting. (It's not uncommon for our group to stick around until 8:00!)
Veritas is an upscale modern dining experience with a farmhouse feel that blends Napa style with the Kentucky Bourbon trail. They have a curated wine list and a of wide range of whiskeys. In addition, Veritas offers a variety of chef prepared fresh seafood small plates and entrees including: steaks, salads, burgers and more! Grab a drink and a bite while we are there to enjoy the full experience.
