Welcome to JCR Holy Hills! We meet at 6:30 PM at Grove St. (next to the clock), and run throughout Jersey City and the Heights.
Holy Hills is a 5-9 mile run, using interval hill repeats. Great strength building for marathon training, improving speed, and overcoming mental barriers when running hills.
Holy Hills is open to all fitness levels - whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting your running journey. We typically will stay in one location (repeats up the same hill), where you can modify the workout to your fitness levels. On some occasions, we will simply run rolling hills, and there are shortcuts to reduce the elevation gain if needed.
In the summer, please bring hydration (water/electrolytes), and in the winter, reflective gear with headlamps is recommended for visibility.
NOTE: Each week we plan a different workout route based on training plans and upcoming races. If you'd like to meet the team at the workout location (instead of Grove St), please contact the organizer for the workout location one day ahead of time.
