Japanese Language Learning Corner

This group is created for anyone learning Japanese language. The event will be held every Saturday at 17:00 near Hachioji Station.

A game in which everyone takes turn to pull a card, read, and answer a question, will be prepared. Each person will be given time (around 3-7 minutes) and space to answer the question, talk freely about anything related to the question. The topic of the questions will vary every week:

Week 1: food/weather/random fun facts
Week 2: activities/hobbies/favorites/experience
Week 3: culture/custom/society/norms
Week 4: movie/books/anime/songs

The questions will be open-ended, so we can express our thoughts freely and improve our conversation skills. Examples: "How is the weather in your home country compared to Japan?" "What is your favorite anime and what is your favorite scene from that anime?"

There will be two types of fee for each event. The first one is 200 JPY/person. This fee is considered as operational cost to keep the group running. The second one, everyone is required to buy at least one drink from the cafe (price ranging from 390-700 JPY, from cola, coffee, tea, to alcohol). This fee is considered as booking fee of the venue.
