About us
Exploring art, heritage and ideas — for curious, sociable 40–60-somethings.
Welcome to Interesting & Interested – Chichester, a friendly group for anyone who enjoys exploring art, culture, heritage, and ideas — and doing it in good company.
Do you ever spot an exhibition, talk or performance you’d love to see, but would rather not go solo? Or have slightly different interests to your partner or friends? Then come and be interesting and interested with us — a small, friendly group of curious people who enjoy exploring culture, heritage and ideas together.
What we do:
🎭 Cultural evenings – gallery visits, theatre nights, films and talks.
🏛 Heritage outings – stately homes, artists’ houses, historic places across Sussex.
🌿 Culture and the natural world – heritage gardens and events linking design, craft and sustainability.
☕ Sociable get-togethers with a twist – each event includes time for a bit of a chat!
Typical rhythm: one weeknight local event + one weekend afternoon outing per month.
We value curiosity, kindness and respect. Numbers stay small (up to around 12 people) so it’s easy to chat and connect.

Expect humour, inventive arrangements, surprising repertoire and beautifully blended harmonies. It promises to be joyful, slightly unexpected, and thoroughly entertaining.
We’ll meet outside the chapel at 12:45 pm to say hello before the performance begins at 1:00 pm (finishing around 2:00 pm). Afterwards, we’ll stroll to Strobilus Cafe for coffee (or tea!) and cake.
