About us

Hiking and Activities Club California (HAACCA) is a vibrant community of members who share a love for nature, movement, and meaningful connection. Led by Maxx, our hikes typically span 6โ€“12 miles and often end with a relaxed picnic to unwind and connect further. Occasionally longer hikes!

More than just a hiking group, HAACCA opens doorways โ€” perhaps most importantly โ€” real friendships in a region where that's not always easy. Our hikes encourage members to unplug from tech, be present, and engage in genuine conversation while exploring some of the most beautiful trails California has to offer.

Hiking shouldnโ€™t be gatekept. This community has given so much to me that I stepped up to lead and continue growing its positive impact. Whether you're new to hiking or a seasoned trekker, HAACCA welcomes you.

letโ€™s hit the trail โ€” I canโ€™t wait to meet you!

Around 23 million years ago, a series of volcanic eruptions shaped the landscape that is now Pinnacles National Park. The remnants of these ancient eruptions have formed a striking terrain of rocky spires and deep canyons. Visitors can explore diverse environments, from chaparral and oak woodlands to the cool, shaded depths of canyon floors.
