*****Meet at 7:00 am in Costco (N. Nevada) parking lot and carpool about 3 hours to the Diamond Lake trailhead in Nederland.

Bring $$ for gas, hotsprings and lunch

This is a moderate/ hard 5+ miles out and back trail with about 1200ft elevation gain that features a lake, waterfalls and picture-worthy views of surrounding peaks.

On our way back, we will stop at Indian Hot Springs for a soak. $20 Swimsuit is required!!

** Lunch at a nearby (Clear Creek Cidery or Tommy Knockers) restaurant so bring $$ and ID

***MEET in front of the bus stop at Hiawatha Gardens 5:30pm, catch the shuttle to the trailhead. Paid parking at Hiawatha Gardens in effect until 6pm. A free half hour parking option exists at the pay kiosks.

Parking may be available at Iron Springs Chateau, if no show is playing. You may be charged $15 to park at the Iron Springs Chateau. The Hiawatha Gardens parking lot and the Iron Springs Chateau are the only lawful incline parking options as posted by city signage. Parking elsewhere is at your own risk.

Meet at the trailhead by 6pm. //// Hike begins promptly at 6pm //// Shuttle back to Hiawatha if shuttle available. Walk back alternative.

This challenging loop is about 4+ miles and has about 2000 ft elevation gain and features great views.

Epic Hike & Travel: Japan & South Korea!

Mount Fuji is Japan's tallest mountain, an active volcano that is a symbol of the country and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Located about 100 km southwest of Tokyo, it is a sacred mountain that has been a site of pilgrimage for centuries and is popular for climbing and visiting the shrines. Its iconic, symmetrical cone shape has inspired countless works of art.

Join me for 10+ spectacular days of hiking, touring, sightseeing and more! The cost is $4, 200 and may increase or decrease based on # of confirmed participants and rates available upon booking/ reserving.

**DEPOSIT: $600 due by Feb 15. This is refundable up to April 15. Your deposit will provide an estimate of the group size so hotel and other arrangements can be finalized.
