🌲☀️ Girls Day Trip to Johnson’s Beach! ☀️🌲
Ladies, let’s escape the Bay Area for a special weekday getaway and head to one of Northern California’s most beautiful summer spots: Johnson’s Beach in Guerneville!

This one is a little extra special because it’s my birthday 🥳 — and I wanted to celebrate by doing something I love with all of you. That’s why we’re doing this on a Monday, August 17th.
Going on a weekday will also help us avoid the peak summer weekend crowds and make the experience way more relaxed.

Nestled along the Russian River and surrounded by towering redwoods, Johnson’s Beach is the perfect place to relax, swim, float, tan, picnic, and enjoy a laid-back summer day with an amazing group of women.

✨ What to Expect:
• Calm river water perfect for swimming and floating
• Sandy beach areas for lounging and sunbathing
• Gorgeous redwood scenery
• Picnic tables and grassy areas
• Kayak, canoe, and paddleboard rentals available
• Restaurants, coffee shops, wineries, and boutiques nearby in downtown Guerneville

🚗 Drive Time:
About 1.5 to 2 hours from most Bay Area locations depending on traffic. Carpooling is highly encouraged. I'm happy to bring some people with me in my car, just let me know :)

Parking is available on-site for a fee. ($10)
Street parking may also be an option but fills quickly on warm days. (FREE)

🩱 What to Bring:
• Swimsuit
• Towel
• Sunscreen
• Hat + sunglasses
• Water + snacks
• Blanket or beach chair
• Floatie/river tube (highly recommended!)
• Cash/card for food, rentals, and parking

🍔 Food & Drinks:
There are restaurants, cafés, and shops within walking distance, and you’re also welcome to bring your own food for a picnic.

🌞 Good to Know:
The Russian River is calm, swimmable, and much warmer than the ocean — perfect for floating and relaxing.

I already reserved one. I'm told they fit 4 comfortably so we may want to reserve a couple more. They can put our umbrellas next to each other upon arrival!
$20 each.
I'll probably reserve one more if no else wants to get one.

👯‍♀️ This is a casual Girls Time gathering — come solo or bring a friend. The goal is simple: relax, connect, and enjoy a beautiful summer day together.

🔥🌅 Girls Night Bonfire at Ocean Beach! 🌅🔥

Saturday, September 26th from 4-7pm

Let's unwind together with a cozy bonfire by the ocean!

Ocean Beach has fire pits, so we'll gather for a laid-back evening of good company, sunset views, and relaxing beach vibes.

✨ What to Bring:
• A blanket (BYOB = Bring Your Own Blanket 😉)
• Chair, warm clothes, snacks, drinks — whatever makes you comfortable
• Most importantly: good vibes!

If you have extra firewood at home or want to pick some up, feel free to bring some to contribute. Most grocery stores and hardware stores carry bundles of firewood.

🎟️ Ticketed Event – $5
To help keep RSVPs accurate and attendance committed, there is a $5 participation fee. This helps ensure spots go to those who genuinely plan to attend.
$5 also goes towards the wood for the bonfire. I've hosted this event 3 times and the wood typically comes to about $80 to keep us cozy all evening.

Refunds: Refunds are easy. Just comment or message before the event starts and I'll give you your $5 back!

The beach is directly across the street, and public restrooms are available at Beach Chalet.

🚗 Free parking is available in the beach parking lot.

The beach stairways are numbered, and I'll post my exact location on the event page once I arrive. Look for the tent and yellow balloons! 🎈
