## Luray Weekend – Final Trip Guide
✨ Note: Nothing on the itinerary is a requirement — join in for what you want and skip what you don’t.
🛑 Ziplining: This activity has been removed. Bear Mountain shut down due to the owner’s illness, and the nearby resort only has one short ride (less than a minute long) and is 35 minutes away, so it didn’t seem worth the trip.
🎈 Hot Air Balloon Side Note: The flight will be very early — takeoff is around 6:00 AM. Please keep that in mind for rest and prep.### Friday, August 22
- Afternoon/Evening
- Everyone arrives at the Airbnb (about a 2-hour drive).
- Light unpacking and get settled.
- Order in dinner (pizza, BBQ, or something easy to share — we can pick a menu ahead of time). Please vote or suggest your preference.
- Airbnb has games we can play, but feel free to bring a favorite if you'd like.
### Saturday, August 23
- Early Morning
- Hot Air Balloon Ride with Balloons Unlimited Inc [sunrise flight lasting 30–60 minutes.]
- Champagne toast & photos after the flight.
- Return to Airbnb for breakfast/brunch.
- Afternoon
- Luray Caverns visit (~2 hours).
- Explore the Car & Carriage Caravan Museum or Toy Town Junction (included with caverns ticket).
- Souvenir shopping and explore the grounds.
- Evening
- Dinner in town.
### Sunday, August 24
- Morning
- Early Scenic Shenandoah hike [Stony Man Trail.]
- Late Morning
- Return to Airbnb, pack, and check out by 10 AM.

- The total for 4 people is at $1,166.00, including Fees. This comes to $291.50 per person. If you plan to ride please send your dollars by Sunday, August 17 [Cash App: $coriolan07] so we can book as one group (avoids multiple processing fees). They are able to accommodate a ride with more than 4 people which I verified via phone. They provided me the instructions on how to go about booking that on the linked website.
2. Dinner Plan for Friday Night 🍕
- Vote for pizza, BBQ, or other — reply by Monday, August 18.
3. Bring List 🧳
- Comfortable walking/hiking shoes.
- Layers for early morning balloon ride (can be chilly).
- Game(s) if you want to share.
- Snacks/drinks for the Airbnb.
4. Carpooling 🚗
- Coordinate arrival times so everyone can get in smoothly — message in the group chat if you need or can offer a ride. I'll be working a half day that Friday so that I can already be there when everyone starts coming in! Once everything is paid and final, I will direct message the Airbnb address out!
