Note: We'll increase the capacity of volunteers based on how many puppies will be available that week so sign up for the waitlist.

What you’ll do:
🐾 Play and interact with shelter pets
🧸 Offer companionship, comfort, and calm vibes
😸 Help animals stay social, happy, and loved

Qualifications:
❤️ Enjoys animals (a lot)
🧥 Comfortable with fur on your clothes
💘 Willing to be emotionally adopted (temporarily)

Join us for Puppy Yoga on 3/18/26 Wednesday, where your downward dog may be interrupted by an actual dog. Small. Fluffy. Adorable. Zero respect for personal space

Expect gentle yoga ‍♂️‍♀️, lots of puppy cuddles , unexpected laughter.

When: Wednesdays @6:30pm - 7:30pm

Suggested donation: $35

Your donation supports the puppies and gives you a wholesome serotonin boost

A few things to know before you hit the mat (and the puppies hit you):

• Masks are required in our facility for the safety of their staff and community. Don’t worry if you forget one, we’ll have masks available.

• Participants must be 12 years or older. Anyone under 18 needs to be accompanied by a guardian. Guardians don’t need to attend the class, but they do need to stay nearby (within about 5 minutes).

• Wear comfy clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty, paw-printed, or lovingly climbed on.

• Yoga mats are provided, so just bring yourself.

Most importantly: come ready to laugh, stretch, and have fun with puppies.

🌿 Wetland Work Party at Rainier Beach Urban Farm & Wetlands🌿

Come spend your Saturday giving back to one of Seattle's most important green spaces! We’re coming together in community to help restore the wetlands at Rainier Beach Urban Farm — and we’d love to have you join us.

🛠️ What we’ll be doing
Hands-on stewardship work including:
• 🌱 Planting native species
• 🚶 Trail maintenance
• 💧 Supporting wetland restoration projects
No experience needed — just a willingness to help and be outdoors together.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 All ages welcome
Bring friends, family and neighbors. This is a great chance to learn, give back and connect.

🎒 What to bring
• 👟 Closed-toe shoes & long pants
• 🧥 Dress for the weather (rain gear is available there if needed)
• 🚰 Reusable water bottle (refill available on site)
• 🧤 Work gloves (or use the ones they provide)

Please check in at the Volunteer welcome station at the Farm Stand.
