Welcome to our sketching group. This is a space for those who are just starting their creative journey and want a low-pressure environment to practice and share ideas. Whether you have just picked up a pencil for the first time or are looking to get back into a habit you set aside years ago, you are welcome here. We focus on the process rather than the final result, and we believe that the best way to improve is by supporting one another through the inevitable bumps of learning.
Our meetups are designed to be equal parts sketching and conversation. We usually spend the first portion of our time working on small, quick prompts or quiet individual practice, followed by a relaxed discussion about our work, the challenges we faced, and the techniques we are curious about. It is a friendly, inclusive circle where nobody is expected to be an expert. If you have been looking for a reason to draw more often and a group of people to share that experience with, we would love to have you join us.
