Blood on the Clocktower
Ostpark Grillplatz, Ostparkstraße 16, 60385, Frankfurt, DEIt's summer, it's hot, so let's murder each other while trying to find a demon in our midst! Let's have a nice chill afternoon playing Blood on the Clocktower in the park!
Blood on the Clocktower
BotC is a social deduction boardgame, similar to Werewolves or Mafia, but a bit more complex and involved. The players are townsfolk trying to find out which of them is the evil demon murdering one of them each night, along with his evil minions. Everybody has a special role with abilities and unique information and finding out who's lying, who's being tricked and which information is correct is part of the fun!Never played? What to bring?
Don't worry if you've never played! We'll start with easy scenarios and being confused is part if the whole game. But maybe watch a rules video first as the rules can be overwhelming at first. You don't need to bring anything except something to drink, snacks and maybe something to take notes with if you want.Where?
If the weather holds up we'll play in Ostpark and find some nice shady area to sit and mingle. (I'll post the location in the whatsapp subgroup) If not, we'll find a indoor alternative.12 attendees
Tabletop Day — Role Play Games Registration
Lilium-Restaurant, Lilium-Restaurant Leipziger Str. 4,, Frankfurt, DETabletop Day! Roleplaying Games Registration.
This is the registration for playing roleplaying games. Want to play board games instead? We got you — the board games run in parallel in the same space, sign-up is over here. Since both happen at the same time, please register for one event only, so we know how many tables to set up.So you're in the group but didn't have the chance to join our events? This is your chance to join us. Meet our thriving community, spend a day with us playing!
Preliminary Schedule
- 12:30 — Doors open. Grab food and drinks, say hello, tables get sorted.
- 13:30 — Games start, both RPGs and board games. Joining once a table is underway is tricky, so please come earlier.
- 16:30–17:00 — RPG sessions and the longer board games wrap up.
- from 17:00 — Hanging out, food, lighter games in bigger groups.
The following roleplaying games are made for newcomers — short one-shots, beginner-friendly rules, everything explained at the table. No prep, no rulebooks, no experience needed. Old hands welcome too!
Which game would you like to join?
Option 1 — Shadowdark Raid a goblin warren to rescue victims, punish evils, discover treasures and maybe solve a mystery you weren't expecting. You play an adventurer of your choosing — fighter, thief, priest or wizard — in a fantasy world of buried ruins and worg-riding goblins, where magic is perilous, battles are fast, and a torch holds back the dark for only one hour of real-world time. No adult content beyond monsters and fighting.
Option 2 — Royal Blood A tarot-based one-shot storygame: no dice, but tarot cards that resolve actions. You play high school goth witches on a doomed revenge mission to show the arrogant head witch her place. Adult content: this is horror, with cruelty and violence in it, but we'll use the X-Card safety tool.
Option 3 — Call of Cthulhu Longyearbyen in Svalbard is not the most welcoming place, especially in winter, but a small scientific outpost keeps working through the darkest months. Eirik, the chief scientist, has gathered a crew — that's you, scientists and technicians, ordinary people — to investigate abnormal readings among grottoes that local lore calls cursed. Real world, real cold, something much older underneath. Adult content: slow horror, death, and minds that don't hold up under what they find.
Option 4 — CBR+PNK Fast-paced and action-packed: you play cybernetically enhanced mercenaries in a near-future sci-fi city, pulling off one last dangerous heist. Simple, cinematic rules make it feel like playing through an intense action movie. Adult content: gun violence and the criminal underworld, more action movie than grim.
Option 5 — Dungeons & Dragons A world of swords, magic and forgotten tombs, where you play a hero of your choosing: human, elf, dwarf, small folk, or someone with dragon or devil in the family tree. The dangers come from the old stories — dragons, goblins, giants, the restless dead — and walking into places you shouldn't is the whole point. No adult content beyond monsters and fighting.
Comment with the game you'd like to play (numbers are fine). If you name more than one, we'll read the order as your priority. You will be able to play only one game, so choose wisely. We bring dice, character sheets, and everything else needed for playing — all you need is a pen and something to scribble on, and even that's optional
Please keep your RSVP up to date so anyone still on the fence can grab a free spot
