Halloween Happy Hour - Winooski Mule Bar
Mule Bar, 38 Main St, Winooski, VT, USNo one does Halloween like Winooski. 1,000 jack-o-lanterns carved by the community, on display in Rotary Park. Enjoy the festival of pumpkins as we sip our cocktails/mocktails across the way at the Mule Bar.
Of course, we can venture across the street to check out the display!
At 6 pm, watch as the pumpkin glow to life and party with DJs, tarot and astrology readings for purchase and more.
Free parking in the cascades parking garage during the Saturday event. Parking details - Enter on Cascade Way. Pedestrian exits to the rotary (2nd floor) and Winooski falls way (1st floor).

Cantilever trail hike - Mt. Mansfield
Cantilever Rock Trail beginning, 352 Mountain Road, Underhill, VT 05490, Underhill, VT, USCantilever Rock Hike

Join us for a dog-friendly late season hike to Cantilever Rock, a quiet spur trail on the side of Mt. Mansfield with fantastic views. We'll start at Underhill State Park, take the Eagle Cut Trail to Sunset Ridge before ending at Cantilever. 3 miles out and back with ~1,100' elevation gain, a moderate hike with lots of rock steps but minimal scrambling.
NOTE: If the Forest Dept. closes the gate due to early winter weather, the hike becomes ~5 miles/1,500' (~2 additional miles along a gravel road). No fee. Dogs on leash.
