Join us for a beautiful out-and-back hike to Rainbow Bridge via the Pacific Crest Trail!

Meetup Details:

• We’ll gather at 8:00 AM and hit the trail right at 8:10 AM, so please plan to arrive a little early and be ready to go. We want to make the most of the cooler morning hours!

• If your plans change and you can’t make it, please update your RSVP as soon as you can so others can plan accordingly.

• Parking is available along the road near the trailhead—just be sure to park responsibly and follow any posted signs.

• We’ll take a relaxing lunch break at the bridge before heading back, so don’t forget to pack something tasty to enjoy.

What to Bring:
This trail is fully exposed, so come prepared!

• Plenty of water
• Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Sturdy hiking shoes

All the rain we've had this winter will most likely reward us with a Superbloom explosion of wildflowers. Borrego Springs is famous for the vast fields and variety of flowers to see. And as an added bonus, there are dozens of wonderful metal sculptures scattered through the area. We can explore many of them once were had our fill of fabulous fragrant flora. Stay as long as you like; I suggest bringing a lunch and making a day of it. Dogs (on leash) and children (leash optional) are welcome.

We will meet at the center of town at the park in the middle of the huge traffic circle. Park anywhere around the circle - I'll put my Meetup sign on top of my car.

We'll spend a couple of hours hiking through one or two of the best blooming areas (there are several) before returning to the park. There, we can eat lunch (I'll bring ice-cold real lemonade) and those who wish to can tour the metal sculptures, including the serpent (pictured), the jeep, scorpion & grasshopper, mastodon, raptor, horses and more.

The Passover Seder involves retellling the story of the liberation of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, taken from the Book of Exodus in the Torah. At the Seder , Jews read text from the Haggadah. This is one of the most celebrated Jewish rituals performed world-wide.

The first 13 who sign up and will bring assigned dish ( coordinate dish w/ Tracy) are in. Sorry this is a private home and we wish to keep it intimate. Thank you in advance. My good friend Cynthia Blessum will be the Seder Leader.
