The Writer’s Hour: Focused Writing & Community at Fable

Every Tuesday night, we gather in our cozy bookshop cafe for a quiet, focused hour of writing. Whether you're journaling, drafting a novel, penning a love letter, or working on your next blog post, you're welcome here.
We'll write quietly together from 7:30–8:30pm, with an optional sharing circle afterwards for anyone who’d like to read a snippet aloud or connect about their project.
It’s free to join, and no pressure to share. Just come as you are, bring whatever you're working on, and give your creative energy a place to bloom.
A few extras:
- Arrive anytime after 6:30pm for a bite to eat, a glass of natural wine, or to mingle before we begin.
- We kindly ask that all guests order something to help us keep this beloved event going. Your support means the world to us (and our small team).

We all have a story to tell. Somewhere inside, beyond our thoughts, beyond our lived experience, there is a message that longs to be written. For many of us, the first book is not just about words on a page, but about giving birth to a part of ourselves. To leave a piece of us, immortalizes our human, impermanent existence, to leave a trace, and to allow what is deepest and most profound within us to transcend.At the same time, we often find ourselves stuck in cycles of postponing, doubting, and silencing the very voice that is calling. This workshop is an invitation to listen deeply to those barriers, to soften them into understanding, to connect with the soul of your book, and to hear its true voice speaking back to you.
The book you write, writes you.
The Experience: Join us for a creative and soul-led journey designed for aspiring first-time authors who feel the call to create but need guidance, motivation, and inspiration to move forward.
Through guided practices, reflection, and collective exploration, you will:- Connect with the voice and message of your book
- Transcend the inner barriers to your creative flow
- Tune into the essence of the story you are meant to tell
- Experience writing as both self-expression and self-discovery
You will leave with renewed clarity, momentum, and a deeper resonance with the story only you can bring to life.

About the Facilitator: Anna Mouchref is a poet, writer, and has over a decade working in human potential development as a transformation coach, design strategist, and leadership learning expert. She is the author of The Shooting Starfish: A Journey for Your Inner Child, her debut book born from her own path of creative becoming.
In this experience, we'll weave creativity, storytelling, and soul work to you deepen into the essence of your first book. She has supported writers and creators in bringing their stories to life and believes that writing a book is one of the most profound ways to step into presence, power, and legacy.

Open Mic Night at Fable

### For our Audience:
Expect an evening brimming with music, poetry, spoken word, and comedy as we invite gifted performers to take the stage and share their art with our Fable community in our intimate, cozy, creative setting. This is a welcoming environment full of self expression and a creative community of humans. Arrive at 7pm to select your seat (first come, first serve!) and performances will start promptly at 7:20pm. The event is very popular, so do arrive on time otherwise your seat is not guaranteed.
Our bookshop in Príncipe Real is the perfect setting to unwind, enjoy performances by local artists, and mingle with fellow art lovers - and while you’re here, maybe even grab a glass of natural wine and enjoy a delicious bite to eat - yes, we do that too!
We know full well that our Fable community is packed full of talented performers and can't wait to share them with you! See you soon! :)

Whether you're a seasoned performer or looking to make your debut, this is your chance to be part of an inclusive community event that celebrates creativity and self-expression.
