Welcome to Exeter board gamers.. for anyone who enjoys board games and having fun with others. We've been running for a few years now putting together groups of enthusiastic gamers for weekly and monthly games nights, special events, and general get togethers.
The list of games out there is too long to mention and anythings welcome so just bring along some of your favourites or join in with what's already playing and see where it goes..
Exeter Board Gamers has an active WhatsApp group, so please ask an event host when you attend a meetup if you wish to be added to the group. Games discussions and reminders of sessions and their venues are posted to the group.

Sunday Games at The Bowling Green
The Bowling Green, 29-30 Blackboy Road, Exeter, GBWelcome to our regular get togethers for board games, drinks, and sometimes pizza!
We meet Sunday afternoons at the Bowling Green which has a fun relaxing atmosphere and plenty of tables to settle into a good game or two. This event starts slightly later than the other board games events at 2 o'clock for people who the slightly later start time suits better. So come along and join in with what others have brought or bring along one of your favourites. We usually start with a quick fun opener to give everyone time to arrive and then settle into some more involved games when everyone's here.
The number of games out there is too long to list so here's a list of some of the regular games where you can tick any you'd like playing this week, and for an idea of what people like you can rate games here.

Sylvania Cafe Games Nights
Sylvania Community Stores and Café, 1 Sylvania Drive, Exeter, GBPennsylvania Board Games are hosting regular games evenings every week at the Sylvania Store and Cafe (1 Sylvania Dr, Exeter EX4 5DT).
It's a community shop and café so there are drinks and snacks available. Please come along and join us for an evening of games, you can bring your own but don't have to as there will be plenty there already.
£3.50/pp (card payment at shop till preferred), 16+ only, games typically start around 7.15pm
(note: although it may look like there are only a handful attendees this is just as most regulars come along without using meetup - we usually have at least a couple of tables running every Wednesday)1 attendee
Sunday Games Afternoon @ The White Hart
White Hart by Marston's Inns, 66 South Street, Exeter, GBJoin us for our regular Sunday get-together of board games, good company, drinks, and good food! We meet most weeks at The White Hart on South Street (all Meetup events are correct, if there's not a game session we won't be meeting!).

We also bring plenty of games along and are happy to teach people new games. If you have a request, drop a message in here or one of the social groups and someone may be able to bring it.
