What we’re about
This is for anyone who likes hiking or vigorous walking and wants to get out, get some exercise, and enjoy the fresh air and the company of others. Walks generally do not require hiking experience and are usually at parks with wide trails/pavement, or rails-to-trails gravel paths. Hiking generally requires you be in good condition and have some hiking experience and equipment, the specifics to be listed in each hike's write up.
Almost all walks are at places east of the CT river, but about 2/3 of hikes will be east of the river, and the rest west of the river.

Please mark yourself as "not going" as soon as you find out for some reason that you can't attend after you signed up. We don't want to hold up seats at the restaurant and WAIT for you!
If you’re marked “No-Show” for three events, then you will no longer be permitted to sign up for future lunch/happy hour events. A “No-Show” is someone who signed up for an event, but did not attend AND did not let the organizer know OR mark themselves as “not attending”.
And if you do attend, please consider ordering something, however small it is, an appetizer or a drink. We’re here to support our local small Mom-and-Pop restaurants. They have the right to reserve their seats for PAID customers.
