This group is a group for those that reside in Dallas and are disc jockeys or trying to become disc jockeys. This group also welcomes people who like to listen to disc jockeys.
Hello my name is John and I run two open decks every week here in Dallas. In case you don't know what an "open deck" is an "open deck" is an open mic but for disc jockeys.
This group exists so that Dallas disc jockeys can have a webpage outside of the Facebook or Nextdoor empire where they can meet one another, sign up for the open decks I host, and see information related to disc jockeying in Dallas.
I personally host two open decks here in Dallas. The open decks I host are free to attend but if you want to perform there is a performance fee. Members that want to perform at either of my open decks will be able to pay that fee through event rsvp on the events. If you do not want to perform at my open deck you do not need to rsvp. You are free to walk in. The address of the location is listed in the event information.
I encourage members of this group to attend these open decks, participate in them, and support Dallas disc jockeys.
