What we’re about

🌙 D&D 5e Campaign — The Crooked Moon (Folk Horror) — Seattle / Fremont

Looking for 5–6 Players • Starts Second Week of January • No Experience Needed

Hi! I’m putting together a new Dungeons & Dragons 5e campaign set in The Infinite Staircase, a whimsical and strange world filled with doors to different worlds (and quests). I’ll be the Game Master, and we’ll be playing in person at my place in Fremont (Seattle).

✨ About the Game
• System: D&D 5e
• Campaign: Quests from the Infinite Staircase
• Tone: Atmospheric, adventurous, and collaborative
• Player Experience: All levels welcome — total beginners to veterans
• Focus: Great vibes, shared storytelling, character arcs, and group fun
• Combat/Roleplay Mix: About 50/50, leaning toward roleplay and mystery early on

⭐What This Campaign Is

This is a series of standalone, self-contained quests drawn from Quests from the Infinite Staircase. Each session or short arc tells a complete story—easy to join, easy to miss a week, and perfect for meeting new players.

The adventures combine cozy fantasy, strange magical realms, and the dreamy, surreal vibes of the Infinite Staircase. Every door opens to a new world, a new tone, and a new story—so the group gets to discover what they enjoy together.

⭐Why We’re Starting This Way

The goal is to build a fun, comfortable, collaborative table before diving into a long-form campaign. Everyone plays differently, and part of the fun is seeing how people’s styles mesh.

This structure lets us:

  • try out different mixes of players
  • let new and returning players get comfortable
  • create space for friendships to form naturally
  • find the tone and playstyle we all enjoy
  • build a group that’s excited to tell a story together

Once we’ve met consistently and found a solid, enjoyable group dynamic, we’ll launch a long-form campaign—one shaped around the tone, themes, and playstyle the group naturally gravitates toward.

🎲 About the Group

I’m looking for friendly, open-minded players who want to:
• Have fun telling a story as a group
• Build characters that connect to the world
• Enjoy cozy, atmospheric sessions
• Respect the table, each other, and the tone
• Show up consistently and communicate clearly

No rules mastery or acting ability required — just enthusiasm.

📅 Schedule & Commitment
• Start Date: Second week of January 2026
• Where: My place in Fremont, Seattle
• Frequency: Ideally weekly or every other week (we can finalize with the group)
• Session Length: ~3–3.5 hours
• Group Size: Looking for 5–6 players

🏡 The Space
• Comfortable, cozy space to play
• Drinks provided (feel free to bring your own too)
• A chill, welcoming environment — LGBTQ+ friendly, inclusive, and respectful

📝 Interested?

Send me:
• Your name
• Your experience level (totally fine if it’s “zero”)
• What you enjoy most in tabletop RPGs
• Any general schedule constraints

Excited to build a new group and tell a weird, wonderful story together.
