If your Metric or the 40-mile group is not ready by the start time, they must leave after the 20-mile group.
"Tropical Smoothie Cafe will offer a 10% discount to all riders on the day of the event! To redeem this offer, please show your event wristband, which can be picked up at the GII tent on the day of the ride."
If needed, bathrooms will be available inside the ALDI and McDonald's at the start of the ride. After the ride, you can enjoy a post-ride meal at one of the nearby restaurants.
You are welcome to bring your tents and chairs. IF YOU BRING A TENT, YOU MUST HAVE WEIGHTS FOR THE LEGS.
**We need our GII Ride Marshals in full effect for this event.**
We designed three routes: a 62-mile route with 2,985ft. elevation for advanced riders, a 40-mile route at 1,952ft. of elevation for intermediate riders, and a 21-mile route at 1,129 ft. of elevation for those who want to work the cobwebs out of their legs from the winter.
Each route has Self-Supported rest stops with bathrooms and food/drinks for purchase. Some Rest Stops are optional; check the cue sheet for details.

Why do we have Support and Gear (SAG)? To ensure you and your bike get back to your car safely, if you have an accident, cannot finish the ride, incur a mechanic, have medical issues, or maybe you have Biked off more than you can do. SAG will assist you in these matters. In other words, Crap Happens!
All GII paid members have FREE access to GII's Ride with GPS mobile voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation.
PACE:
Fast (Group A/B): 18-20+ mph. For experienced riders who want a fast, challenging workout.
Steady (Group C): 15-17 mph. A brisk pace for those who ride regularly.
Social/Beginner (Group D): 10-15 mph. A relaxed, "no-rider-left-behind" pace is perfect for newcomers.

To make the ride-day sign-in quicker and easier, please provide your ride-day contact info via the RSVP questions so the Ride Leader/Organizer can have it in case of an emergency on the day of the ride. Your information will be kept private and visible only to the Ride Leader/Organizer.
CYCLIST RESPONSIBILITIES:
Arrive early and be ready to leave on time.
FOR SAFETY REASONS (NO LOUD MUSIC)-HEADPHONES, PLEASE. We need everyone able to hear other riders, cars, etc. A single earpiece for Nav/GPS is okay. Best for Cycling SHOKZ Headphones
HELMETS ARE MANDATORY! NO HELMET, NO RIDE.
CARRY A SPARE TUBE, PATCH KIT, PUMP, WATER BOTTLE, AND SNACK.
Carry identification and emergency money.
Practice safety and obey all traffic laws.
Do not "bike off" more than you can do. Go on rides within your ability, interest, and experience level.
If you get a flat tire, you must have a spare inner tube and change your tire.
MAKE SURE YOUR BICYCLE IS IN PROPER WORKING ORDER BEFORE YOU ARRIVE!
