What we’re about
This is a space for people who crave meaningful conversations and are passionate about building community. Many of us want deeper connection in a world that often feels isolating. We're surrounded by people yet struggle to feel truly seen. Fulfillment in our relationships (whether with friends, family, partners or ourselves) can feel elusive, and the art of connection is one we are still learning.
Connection Circle is a psychology discussion group. We explore psychology topics in a way that feels approachable and relevant to our daily lives, through a lens of introspection and relational insight. Together, we’ll get curious not just about what we think, but why we think what we think.
Some weeks, we'll explore big themes like loneliness, romantic relationships or our love for nature. Other times, we'll dive into frameworks like attachment theory, self-compassion and the science of belonging. We might reflect on a book or movie, a podcast episode, a piece of art, or simply bring our own stories to the table. Each gathering will offer a different lens, but always in service of the same inquiry: what allows us to feel truly seen, and what keeps us apart?
The invitation is to come as our whole selves: real, vulnerable, unpolished. The only expectation is that we meet one another with respect and kindness. Bring your insight, your questions, your awkwardness, your quiet, and be received as you are.
