Let's meet at the Jungle Habitat parking lot in West Milford NJ. If necessary, we can car pool from the nearby Park and Ride. We will hike a bit more in the Jungle this time around, then visit the Ruins, including whats left of the Ticket booth, Bird cage, Otter slide and Safari Car Railway. (See link in comments)
Following the Ruins we will quickly leave the park and hike up Horse Pond Mountain in Ringwood for a beautiful view of the Monksville reservoir eventually looping to the opposite end of Jungle Habitat and back to our cars.

This hike is moderate but for some hard and not for beginners. We will be on marked and unmarked trails and will need to stick together since it will be difficult to find your way back. We will stop for pics and take short breaks.

Please only attend if you are confident in your hiking abilty as per the following:
Elevation Gain = about 1000ft
Pace = about 2mph
Distance = about 6.4 miles
Terrain = Grass, Dirt, Rocks, Roots, Brooks, Mud

Let's walk about Piermont Villiage and view the Hudson and the Pier from Tallman Mountan Park. We will start off in Parking Lot D and walk the streets to cross the Historic Drawbridge, climb the winding rock steps to the top of Tallman Mountain. After we take in the view we will leave the park and head to the pier which extends almost halfway across the Hudson. Heading back along side the water we will travel to the village down Piermont ave and stop for lunch if interested. Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers are recommended. Hiking boots optional.

Difficulty - Easy (except for the steps which can be difficult, know your abilty).
Elevation - 200ft
Pace - about 2 to 2.5 mph
