PLEASE JOIN US FOR OUR 1st FUNDRAISING FULL MOON PADDLE!
Ridgefield’s Community Dragon Boat program needs your support. The first priority is docks.
Our Kaoshiung Boats are 40 feet long and desperately need their own home. For the dragon boat program to be sustainable we need docks. The cost is $45,000 and we have already raised $20,200.
Together we can do this.
We believe we can cross the finish line with docks in place by May 2026.
Our vision for the Community Dragon Boat Program began in 2018. Since then thousands of volunteer hours have restored the boats, and we successfully launched the program in 2023. This could not have happened without the City and Port of Ridgefield, Lion’s Club, Ridgefield Art Association, Clark County Fire & Rescue and the generosity of our extended dragon boat family in Portland and Vancouver.
From June - October the community dragon boat program provides recreational educational activity on Lake River that is FREE and INCLUSIVE. Connecting people to people, to history and culture, wildlife and spirit of place.
