Nuovo Cinema Italiano Film Festival is proud to announce the 20th edition of its annual celebration of contemporary Italian cinema and culture. The 2026 festival will take place November 4–8 at the Queen Street Playhouse, 20 Queen St., in downtown Charleston.
Over five days, the festival will present 13 feature films and documentaries, along with a fashion show and a special event dedicated to the Neapolitan episode of Roberto Rossellini’s neorealist classic Paisan.

All screenings are general admission; tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at the door. Festival passes available with membership. Free admission to all film screenings for college students, faculty and staff (school ID required).

Join us for relaxed Spanish conversation at Sena Cafe in Mount Pleasant! We will be meeting outside, weather permitting. NOTE EARLY START TIME BECAUSE SENA CLOSES AT 3 PM! This is an informal group - everyone is welcome, whether you’re just starting out or already fluent. The goal is simply to practice, have fun, and connect with others who love the Spanish language. There is a parking lot behind the building (enter from Morrison, Meeting or Brigade streets). Look for the Spanish flag on our table, or a group speaking Spanish.
