About us
A group for horror Tabletop Role Playing Games. Come and meet new people and participate in collaborative storytelling.
Interested in playing something besides D&D? As a horror enthusiast this group will focus on horror systems. Here are the available systems:
- Mothership = A minimal indie, high lethality scifi system. Survive, solve, save, pick 1.
- Mothership homebrew = Same as regular mothership but homebrewed to any setting. I've ran a modern Japan and in the 80s USA settings so far.
- Kids on Bikes = A Stranger Things, 80s, inspired system with an impressive town creation ruleset. Play as a kid or adult and solve the mystery plaguing your small town.
- Dread = Jenga as an RPG. Taking any risky action, pull a block. If the tower falls, you die. That's the entire ruleset.
- Delta Green = This system is subject to outside party approval (I can't personally run this). In Delta Green you work as Federal investigators solving monster of the week style internal reports. Just make sure to keep the event from going public. (Call of Cthulhu derivative)
- Alien RPG = Set in the iconic Alien universe, encounter the perfect organism in a official module (evolved/2nd edition).
We will meet in one of the following Charleston locations for events:
- Zenergy/Heroes & Champions (game store)
- Gamers Guild (game store)
- Rusty Bull (brewery)
- Frothy Beard (brewery)
- Wyrd Sisters (brewery)
- Benny Rinaldi's (pizza & beer place)

Benny Rinaldi's, 1079 E Montague Ave Suite 100, North Charleston, SC, USA two-shot RPG of Kids on Bikes (2 events only! including this one).
Kids on Bikes is a Stranger Things, 80s inspired horror RPG system.
Featuring the best session 0 kit I've seen, as we collaboratively construct the town you live in. Creating town rumors, residents and locations.
New player friendly, ages 18+ please, no prep or materials needed.
Please make at least one purchase of a beverage or snack.
If you're new to Kids on Bikes here's the rules:
- When creating a character you pick either a Child, Teen or Adult
- Stats are Brains, Brawn, Fight, Flight, Charm and Grit
- During character creation each stat will permanently get assigned 1 die from a full set (d20, d12, d10, d8, d6, d4). E.g. I assign d20 to Brawn and d4 to Charm.
- The higher you roll the better. So, in the example above, Brawn is my best stat and Charm is my worst.Full PDF (reading is optional! Don't get intimidated by rules, we're here to have fun and participate in collaborative story telling. I as the GM can fill in any gaps of the rules for you!)
