Music for Mushrooms Film Screening Event RSVP

This month’s circle of consciousness gathering features a film screening: Music for Mushrooms

Join us for a special screening of Music for Mushrooms, an immersive documentary and sound journey created by musician East Forest that explores the intersection of music, meditation, and inner healing. The film offers a thoughtful look at the role of live, intentionally crafted music as a therapeutic anchor in psilocybin ceremonies, while exploring how sound can support healing, presence, and transformation.Through intimate footage and expert insights from scientists and spiritual leaders, the film highlights how soundscapes facilitate the processing of deep trauma and emotional blockages.

The documentary argues that while clinical psychedelic research focuses on the substance, the auditory environment is equally vital for the healing experience. It serves as an exploration of the modern psychedelic renaissance, emphasizing music’s role in mindfulness, connection, and emotional growth. For more details, visit the Music for Mushrooms website.

Circle of Consciousness is a monthly gathering hosted by the Central Florida Psychedelic Society and Center Street. These education-centered evenings are created to explore a specific state of consciousness through the lens of healing, compassion, curiosity, and self-discovery. Each gathering may take the form of a guided discussion, a film screening, or a hands-on experiential practice designed to help participants deepen their understanding of the topic.
