TURCA Breakfast House is located in my 'hood of Mount Pleasant and is truly a wonderful family owned restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere. TURCA takes pride in serving up fresh and delicious authentic Turkish dishes made with the finest ingredients. Following brunch, those interested in burning off some brunch calories may walk the 2.5 blocks from there into beautiful Confederation Park for a casual stroll along the paved pathways (weather pending, of course).

There is parking along 4th Street. If you can't find a spot, you may park one block away on 27th Avenue at the Mount Pleasant Arts Centre.

Let’s enjoy this Sunday afternoon on a beautiful walk in the park around Glenmore Reservoir. After the walk we’ll stop at Glenmore Landing for a refreshing drink and treat.

We will walk from South Glenmore Parking Area West towards Weaselhead Flats and back on paved and dirt pathways.

Enjoy free admission to Contemporary Calgary on the first Thursday of each month from 5 pm to 9 pm!

They stay open late and offer a rotating slate of entertainers, vendors, and activities — along with free popcorn and a paid concession. You can visit the exhibitions, watch a performance, or make something at the drop-in art-making session.
