Hey 👋🏽 my name is Ashanti, I’m 30, and I recently decided to start learning how to quad skate/rhythm skate versus rollerblading. I’m creating this group in the hope of meeting some fun, kind, brave, beautiful girlies/peeps looking to make new friends, practice skating together, build new skill and confidence, and just having fun! As of now I plan to rent skates and practice indoors at the Burnsville Skateville. I’ve had positive experiences at this roller rink, it seems to be a good place to practice and adult only skate is a vibe 👏🏽! (Check out events for adult roller skate lessons too!) Lastly, I’m all about big joy, playful energy, and expressive fun, but also mutual respect and awareness of group dynamics. I’d love to attract kind, emotionally mature people who contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere. This space will likely feel especially welcoming to women and LGBTQ+ folks, but anyone who aligns with that energy and respects it is welcome. ☮️

Our group typically attends the Thursday Adult Night (20+) from 8:00–10:30 PM at Skateville. Admission is $11, and skate rental is $5 if you need it (you’re welcome to bring your own skates). Please note that outside food or drinks are not allowed inside the rink. Prices are set by Skateville and paid directly at the rink when you arrive.
