BROMPTOBERFEST East Bay: El Cerrito to Temescal Brewing
El Cerrito Plaza BART Station, 6699 Fairmount Ave, El Cerrito, CA 94530, USA, El Cerrito, CA, USJoin us for the inaugural BROMPTOBERFEST — ja! 🍺🥨
Dust off your lederhosen, dirndls, or just your favorite Brompton (traditional attire enthusiastically encouraged, never required). We'll kick off this new East Bay tradition with a proper German-inspired adventure.
Starting at El Cerrito Plaza BART, we'll roll south — no schnell required — to pick up some delicious Squabisch Pretzels to fuel the remaining miles. From there we'll cruise the sights (and yes, occasionally the smells) of the Bay Trail along the waterfront, stop for a few wunderbar photo opportunities, and continue to the Emeryville Marina before turning inland. Our journey concludes at Temescal Brewing, whose very Brompton-friendly courtyard will be pouring Oktoberfest Festbier with UTMOST PRECISION alongside plenty of other beverages and food options. Whether you're celebrating with a Festbier, a sparkling water, or something in between, we'll raise a cheerful "Prost!" to good company, folding bikes, and the beginning of what we hope becomes an annual tradition.
The ride will be gemütlich--Keiner bleibt zurück (comfortably social--no-drop), and suitable for riders of all experience levels. So grab a pretzel, ring your Brompton bell, and join us for a delightfully un-serious ride with just enough German flair to make everyone smile. Allez! Auf geht's!
