Welcoming all Asians in the Boston area who are looking to make new friends while exploring every corner of this beautiful city of ours!

The purpose of this group is to create a space for Asians to network with and meet other people with similar interests. We aim to host a variety of engaging events ranging from restaurant and bar meetups to recreational sports outings to social mixers, and everything in between.

While this group is specifically created for the Asian community, people of all ethnicities and national origins are welcome to join. We look forward to meeting all of you!

🎿 BSA Ski & Snowboard Day at Loon Mountain ❄️
Loon Mountain, 60 Loon Mountain Road, Livermore, NH, US
Kick off the new year with fresh snow, mountain views, and good company! Join Boston Subtle Asians for our first event of 2026 as we head up to Loon Mountain for a full day of skiing and snowboarding.

Whether you’re carving confidently, cruising blues, or stepping on snow for the first time, this trip is meant to be fun, relaxed, and beginner‑friendly.

🎟 Lift Tickets

$149 when purchased online in advance

$68 for ski/snowboard rentals

$72 for a limited access beginner lift ticket

$290 for a bundle (beginner lesson, rental and limited access lift ticket)

🚗 Getting There / Carpooling

Loon Mountain is about a 2‑hour drive from Boston

Some attendees will be driving and may have carpool space

DM the organizer if:

You have room in your car and are willing to drive

You’re looking for a ride

We’ll do our best to help coordinate carpools.

Come make turns, take breaks together, and start 2026 on the slopes with BSA 🏔️

Come join us at our December book club meeting as we discuss The Phoenix Pencil Company by Allison King. The event will be held at the Boston Public Library Central Branch.

In this special book club event, the book's author Allison King will join us for Q&A! Allison King is an Asian American writer and software engineer based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In technology, her work has ranged from semiconductors to platforms for community conversations to data privacy. Her short stories have appeared in Fantasy Magazine, Diabolical Plots, and LeVar Burton Reads, among others. She is also a 2023 Reese's Book Club LitUp fellow. The Phoenix Pencil Company is her first novel.
