What we’re about
Want to escape the everyday responsibilities of adulting and step into a world of books where all you have to do is experience different stories with others?
Hi there, we're a group of friends who read for different reasons, one of which is to take a break from adulting (over it!). If you want to take a break too, join us! Each month we meet at a local Plano, Texas eatery, inspired by the book of the month, for unscripted book club shenanigans (aka ~ good discussions, good food, good times!) So, wanna escape? Check out our next meet up.

A brilliant iteration of the book: Adventures of Huckleberry Finn —both harrowing and satirical— told from the enslaved Jim's point of view.
When Jim overhears that he is about to be sold to a man in New Orleans, separated from his wife and daughter forever, he runs away until he can formulate a plan. Meanwhile, Huck has faked his own death to escape his violent father. As all readers of American literature know, thus begins the dangerous and transcendent journey by raft down the Mississippi River toward the elusive and unreliable promise of the Free States and beyond.4 attendees
