Board Games in English, GRENOBLE

🌊 Two games, one rule for the night: 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗮. Up on deck, nobody trusts the captain. Down below, two submarines are hunting each other in the dark. Pick your ocean. 🐙⚓
⠀
🐙 𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗞𝗥𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗡
𝗠𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲. One ship, three secret crews, three different destinations.
⛵ The Sailors just want to get everyone home safely.
🏴‍☠️ The Pirates are quietly steering toward their hideout.
🐙 And the Cult Leader wants to sail the whole ship straight into the Kraken, secretly converting other players to his cult along the way, so the friend you trusted early on might belong to the Kraken by the end.

😱 Each round the Captain picks a Lieutenant and a Navigator to steer, and if the crew doesn't trust them, it's 𝗺𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘆. 🔫 Expect cabin searches, people thrown overboard, and at least one player getting their tongue cut out so they can't speak for the rest of the game. 🤐
👥 5 to 11 players · ⏱️ around 45 to 90 minutes
⠀
🚢 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗥
𝗪𝗮𝗿 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀. Two submarines, two crews of up to four, one mission: find the enemy sub and blow it out of the water before it finds you. 💥 Everyone on your crew has a job:
🧭 The 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 steers the sub and has to call out every move, out loud.
🎧 The 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 listens to the enemy Captain's calls and traces their route on a see-through map to work out where they're hiding.
⚡ The 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲 charges up the torpedoes, mines, drones, sonar and silent running.
🔧 The 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 keeps the sub from falling apart, because every move breaks something. Let the damage pile up and you'll have to surface for repairs while the enemy keeps hunting. 😬
You can play it turn by turn, or in real time with both crews acting at once, which is where it gets gloriously loud. Expect a lot of "TORPEDO READY!" shouted across the table. 📢
👥 2 to 8 players, at its best as two crews of four · ⏱️ around 45 to 60 minutes
⠀
😌 Both games are 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 and we teach everything at the table. With two games on the go we can split into tables and swap through the night, so 𝗻𝗼𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁. 🔄
