The people in our group are a wide variety of ages, experiences, likes, and personalities. We try to schedule events of different types so everyone will find something that appeals to them.
We're a fun group of people who enjoy meeting others and having others with us to enjoy activities. We are not, however, a "hook-up" based group.

Shine Theater is proud to present, "The Sound of Music" in partnership with the Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Arts Center in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
The final collaboration between Rodgers & Hammerstein was destined to become the world’s most beloved musical. Featuring a trove of cherished songs, including “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen” and the title number, The Sound of Music won the hearts of audiences worldwide, earning five Tony Awards and five Oscars.
The inspirational story, based on the memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp, follows an ebullient postulate who serves as governess to the seven children of the imperious Captain von Trapp, bringing music and joy to the household. But as the forces of Nazism take hold of Austria, Maria and the entire von Trapp family must make a moral decision.

This is Jack speaking now. I have purchased two tickets. They are Row B and the two seats next to the center aisle. I was hesitant to buy more, but because of reserved seating wanted to have at least two together.Everyone is welcome and, depending on the turnout, we can discuss possibly having supper before the play.
