About us
Welcome ladies! We're outdoor enthusiasts from Bellingham, WA. Our group is interested in hiking, biking, kayaking, camping and more. We believe in keeping the outdoors accessible for all women and empowering each other to explore the outdoors.
Bellingham Outdoor Women is a women only group. Beginners, experts, locals, and new transplants are welcome. Join us in our next adventure!
Membership rules:
- Open to anyone who identifies as women, non-binary or non-gender conforming.
- Members must create a profile that posts their real name and photo
- Treat others with respect and consideration
- Please only RSVP yes if you are committed to attending. Be sure to update your status asap if you cannot attend to allow others to participate.
- Check each Meetup to see if dogs are allowed before bringing your pup.
- Our organizers are volunteers, please be kind!
- We are always looking for more organizers, talk to your event leader to sign up to host.

Early season backpack at Baker Laker Lake (one night)
Lincoln Creek Park & Ride, 800 Lincoln St, Bellingham, WA, USLet's greet the summer doing this easy-ish backpack on the Baker Lake trail, ideally camping at Maple Grove. Baker Lake - Maple Grove — Washington Trails Association (wta.org) 8 mi roundtrip, 500 feet elevation gain.
There we can enjoy great views of the lake and surrounding mountains, and share a potluck dinner. We'll also have a pre-trip meetup if you want to ask questions or get to know your fellow backpackers.
We'll meet at the Lincoln Creek Park and Ride in Bellingham at 7 am and figure out ridesharing from there.
