**How does nature nurture the brain? **After a 60-minute walk in nature, activity in brain regions involved in stress processing decreases...
Mental health prescription: Nature
Being in nature can boost your mood and improve mental health. Spending quality time in the great outdoors reduces stress, calms anxiety, and can lead to a lower risk of depression, according to a study done by researchers at Stanford University. In addition to having mental health benefits, being outdoors opens up your senses to your surroundings and improves your sensory perception. Taking in the sights, smells, and feelings of nature has so many health benefits it can even be prescribed by a doctor.
Our Club events have a very positive impact on people's lives, people meet, fall in loveš meet new friends, HAPPY, better health, less stress, anxiety, depression, isolate being alone and got extra bonus for LOVE āš
*Note: We appreciate your support to keep our club thriving. Your donation/contribution helps cover our costs and enhance our meetups.
A small event fee helps cover organizing costs, including planning, permits, and many other expenses that go into making these events happen. A lot of time and effort goes into researching trails, securing permits, and managing unexpected challenges. Your support helps keep these adventures goingāthank you for being part of the journey!
*When you attend our group events, implied consent is assumed for photography. If you prefer not to be photographed, please feel free to let people know.
Join us and be part of a community that not only promotes wellness but also nurtures lifelong friendships and, in some cases, love stories. We look forward to meeting you and making lasting memories together!

šGreen Excises 5 Miles š„¾San Francisco Ocean Hike šLands End
Great Highway & John F Kennedy Drive, San Francisco, CA, USHello Ocean Lovers,
Let's meet up go for a Green Exercise Wellness Hike at Lands End Trail, meet new friends and get a good workout together. Enjoy Ocean air and Healing Sea for our physical Health and Mental well-beingLands End Trail is a favorite among both locals and visitors alike! This trail explores the historic Sutro Baths and offers great views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Pacific Ocean. A must see for any visitor to San Francisco.
Lands End San Francisco
The Coastal Trail at Lands End in San Francisco is a gorgeous spot for hiking, but most visitors to the city don't know it's there.Early History
San Francisco was originally inhabited by the Ohlone Indians. An archeological site at Lands End was dated at 150 A.D., but there is evidence that Indians had been living in San Francisco for around 3,000 years. They had seasonal camps where the Sutro Baths ruins are now, eating seafood and hunting seals; archeologists found their garbage dumps, more politely known as middens.Hiking the Lands End Trail
The Lands End Coastal Trail is walkway that starts just above the Cliff House, then winds in and out of the woods and along the edge of the bluffs, and ends in a ritzy residential area (Sea Cliff) near China Beach.Lands End Trail
The way down is quite steep, but there is a stairway to follow. It's a small, rocky beach, good for relaxing and watching the breaking waves, but too rough (and cold) for swimming.Mile Rock Beach
Another branch of the same path will take you down to the mini-beach, Mile Rock Beach, at the foot of Lands End Point.Mile Rock Beach-Tiny, but cool!
It secluded the beach at the entrance to San Francisco Bay, a scene of many shipwrecks, but a pretty detour off the gorgeous.Meet at 1:30pm and Hike time: 2pm

šForest of Nisene Marksš²Hikeš„¾Adventure š Beach šļø Combo+ Social Dinner š½ļø
Forest of Nisene Marks State Park, 629-591 Aptos Creek Rd, Aptos, CA, USHello Team
We are heading to beautiful The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park for a fresh-air redwood adventure!
I went to scout the area already ā⢠Parking on the residential street ā no fee and no issue
⢠Peaceful entrance
⢠Gorgeous redwood forest energy āØAbout The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park
Located near Santa Cruz, this park's dense second- and third-growth redwood forest rises from near sea level to steep coastal mountains, offering picnic spots near Aptos Creek and 30 miles of hiking and biking trails in rugged semi-wilderness.Off the beaten path, The Forest of Nisene Marks is a refreshing retreat from the busy towns and beaches along Highway 1 near Santa Cruz. Its dense second- and third-growth redwood forest rises from near sea level to steep coastal mountains.
Most visitors come to picnic near Aptos Creek or to hike, jog, or bike on 30 miles of trails in rugged semi-wilderness, rising from sea level to steep coastal mountains of more than 2,600 feet.
The parkās land has a bittersweet beauty. Almost all of todayās redwood forest was clear-cut in a 40-year logging frenzy from 1883 to 1923. When the loggers left the Aptos Canyon, the forest began to heal itself; now, the scars grow fainter with each passing year. The Forest of Nisene Marks is a monument to forest regeneration and the futureāit is a forest in a perpetual state of becoming.
The park's name honors Nisene Marks, the nature-loving mother of the Salinas farm family that bought the land in the 1950s. Her children donated approximately 9,700 acres to the state in 1963 with the provision that the land never be developed. Today, the park showcases a forest in recovery, with rugged canyons and remnants of its once-bustling railroad and logging industry. A grove of ancient old-growth redwood trees near the Pourroy picnic area was preserved under private ownership and added to the park in recent years.
Here is our FUN flexible plan:
Option 1 ā If the Bridge is Open
If the bridge is available to access the main park, we will continue deeper into the forest.
Beautiful redwoods
Route: Out and back
Length: Total hike: 5ā6 miles
Parking: Free
Level: Moderate Challenging!
Elevation gain: 500 ft+
Dog: No!
āāļø Calm, grounding forest therapy
Option 2 ā If the Bridge is Closed
Currently, part of the trail only allows about 2 miles out and back because the bridge is not accessible.
No problem at all
āāļøGeneral Dr.Heidi always has a backup plan!
After our forest hike:
We drive a few minutes
Head to the beach
Add about 3 miles beach walk
So it becomes:
Forest hike + Beach walk combo adventure
Two different energies in one day ā Redwoods + Ocean breeze = Perfect balance
ļø After the Adventure ā Social Dinner
Optional group dinner nearby for those who want to relax, eat, laugh, and connect.
Good food + good people + ocean air = happy life āØ
Important Notes
āLayer up ā forest can be cool
āBring water & snacks
āAnyone who needs to leave early can manage your own time
āPositive attitude required
āThis is not just a hike.
Itās green exercise, fresh oxygen, and good social energy!
