About us
Diamond Way Buddhism is a network of lay meditation centres within the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism founded by Lama Ole Nydahl and under the spiritual authority of H.H. 17th Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje.
The centres are place where people can learn to meditate and receive authentic Buddhist teachings in a friendly modern context. The teachings and methods are based on a long tradition but the style is open and free from cultural baggage.
We also organise teachings by visiting Western and Tibetan teachers.

Compassion and Wisdom
Central Quaker Meeting House, Champion Square, Bristol, BS2 9DB, Bristol, GBErik Weiss has been a student of Lama Ole Nydahl since 1978 and is one of those asked by him to pass on the teachings. He helped start and run our retreat centre in Schwartzenberg, Germany.
He will discuss using timeless Buddhist methods to develop Compassion and Wisdom.
The talk will be in the Meeting Room and there will be time for a Q&A and try a short meditation.
