Enjoy your friends and the food and drinks from the Garden Grille & Bar while listening to Jason Whitaker (He plays from 6pm - 9pm).

Jason is an expressive multi decade Light Rock guitarist and balladeer (think: Eagles, Clapton, Seger, James Taylor, Jim Croce, Mellencamp, Fleetwood Mac, Bon Jovi, even a little Elvis). Come unwind with us at the relaxing and comfortable garden setting for a musical evening at the Hilton by the Asheville Outlets.

There is free parking in both the front of the hotel and behind it as well.
Carpooling is encouraged.

The Hilton is right near the Asheville Tanger Outlet Mall. Take Exit 33 (Brevard Road) off Highway 26. Parking is free!

Hey y’all! Let’s go hike the Strawberry Gap trail in Gerton NC! This is a 5.2 mile out and back with elevation gain of 1158’. All of the elevation gain is leaving from the parking lot. The top of the mountain is an open field with views for miles, including Bearwallow Mountain. There is a beautiful overlook on the way as well

Make sure to sign up only if you can handle the elevation gain starting out from the parking lot

The trail will have some rocks and roots, so wear sturdy footwear. Bring plenty of water

Dogs are not allowed on this trail

Everyone pack a picnic lunch and we’ll hang out before heading back down

Hey y’all!! We’re gonna host a Corn Hole Tournament at Appalachian Mountain Brewery!
We’re gonna host a double elimination tournament! AMB has four cornhole board sets, and several of us have more. We’re going to run eight games at a time if needed. Come out and let’s have some fun, and support a great local business!

Grab your partner and come out and play! If you do not have a partner, you can partner with someone at the event. Do not let not having a partner stop you from coming out for this event.

Be there at 5:00 to register teams of two, or to find a partner at the event. Registration closes at 5:45. First games start at 6:00.

We are going to have two brackets.

• Competition bracket will be a paid bracket that will have a $10 entry fee per team of two. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

• Fun bracket will be for teams or individuals that want to participate, but not be in the running for prizes.

Brackets close when we reach 12 teams in each.

This is gonna be fun!!

The object of cornhole is to reach exactly 21 points first. Teams score points by tossing bags onto the board (1 point) or through the hole (3 points). Play alternates until all 8 bags are tossed, and scores cancel each other out at the end of each round (cancellation scoring).Setup &

GameplayDistance: Place boards 27 feet apart (measured from the front edge to the front edge). For a casual backyard game, you can adjust this distance based on player ability.

Teams: Played with 2 players (Singles) or 4 players (Doubles). In doubles, teammates stand directly across from each other at opposite boards.

Turns: Players throw underhand and must stay behind the foul line (the front edge of the board). Players alternate turns throwing one bag at a time until all 8 bags have been tossed.

Scoring: in the hole: 3 points. On the board: 1 point. Foul bag: 0 points (e.g., if a bag hits the ground first or if a player steps on or crosses the foul line).Points are calculated using cancellation scoring.

The team with the higher score in the round subtracts the lower team's score to get the net points for that round. For example, if Team A scores 5 points and Team B scores 3 points, Team A is awarded 2 points for that frame.
