THURSDAY NIGHT MEET AND GREET AT FIESTA MEXICANA RESTAURANT, FRIDAY MORNING PADDLE ON LAKE POWELL TO THE BACK DOOR OF ANTELOPE CANYON, HIKE IN AS FAR AS YOU LIKE TO CAPTURE ALL THE BEAUTY IT HAS TO OFFER.
SATURDAY SEVERAL AMAZING HIKES AROUND THE PAGE AREA.
SUNDAY EARLY MORNING HEAD DOWN TO LEES FERRY FOR BACKHAUL UP THE AMAZING COLORADO RIVER WHERE WE START OUR PADDLE DOWN TO HORSESHOE BEND & CAMPING OVERNIGHT ON THE BEND!!! MONDAY HEAD BACK TO LEES FERRY TO HEAD HOME!
We will be doing some of the most Breathtaking sites in ARIZONA... plus bonus.. AMAZING Hike Saturday
Choose your own Adventure:
1.) Friday's Paddle and hike Antelope Canyon + (bonus hike)
2.) Saturday's Amazing hikes around the Page area
3.) Sunday's Backhaul Paddle Horseshoe Bend
4.) Sunday Night Camping on (Nine Mile) Horseshoe Bend
5.) Monday break camp head back to Lee's Ferry (explore a canyon on the way down. Load cars and head home.
What's Going On: Thursday head up to Page Arizona, your choice of Camping or a good night's hotel rest before Friday morning's Kayaking Lake Powell up into Antelope Canyon to Hike/Explore this Magnificent Slotted Canyon. After if you have a little energy left lets do the hike behind the Shell Gas Station on the way back. Saturday Amazing hikes around the Page area. If that was not enough... After this Amazing day we'll head back to our Hotel or campsite for a night's rest before our next morning's Amazing Kayaking trip down the mighty Colorado River for camping at the base of Horseshoe bend Sunday night.
We will head up Thursday night or Friday morning as early as we can to Page AZ, Check into your choice of Hotel or Camping close to Antelope Point Marina. Friday morning will meet at Antelope Point Launch Ramp 8:00 AM to start our kayaking trip on Lake Powell over to Antelope Canyon. Kayaking to where the water ends, dock our kayaks, and start our Adventure hiking and Exploring the (Back Door) of Antelope Canyon. After our Exploring is over we kayak back down to the Launch Ramp, load our vehicles, head back to our hotel room and get ready for our evening fun. We will enjoy some food, spirits, and camaraderie at the Grand Canyon Brewing + Distillery, or just call it a night. Saturday morning we will meet up at the Walmart parking lot at 7:30AM to head out to our Amazing Saturday hikes. Then in the evening we'll catch some live music and dinner before heading over to the big night life HOT SPOT in Page AZ (Did someone say Karaoka).... After a fun filled wild night we will head out Sunday morning down to Lees Ferry (one hour drive) to be there no later then 7:30 am for our BACKHAUL* up to Glenn Canyon Dam.
(Please be at boat launch no later then 7:30AM)
Where we unload by the docks and wait for our backhaul boats to bring us up to the base of Glenn Canyon Dam for our float down the Colorado River to camp Sunday night at the base of Horseshoe Bend. (There are six primitive camping areas along the river between Glen Canyon Dam and Lees Ferry). We will be camping at the Nine Mile Campsite. Then Monday morning break camp and finish our Kayaking Adventure down the Colorado River to Lees Ferry, Load up and say our good-byes and head back home.
- The cost of this Amazing trip is $100 per person this cost covers the BACKHAUL FEE.. Paid to Amazing Arizona Adventures.
A gratuity for the backhaul captain is always appreciated.
