Our purpose is to provide a wide range of social events for our community of members who are close to the age of 50 or older.
Event and Activities:
Here are some examples of recreational and educational activities** and events** you can choose from:

- Restaurants (Brunches, Dinners, Happy Hours)
- Recreational Sports (Pickleball, Table Tennis)
- Walks
- Bike Rides
- Movies
- Board and Card Games

- Educational Tours
- Adventure Activities

Attending Events:
To attend any event you must be a paid member. Please, no drop in's
Annual Membership Fees:
Equal to about the price of one good quality restaurant meal (food, drink, taxes, tip) $49*** or about $4 per month.
What value do you get?
- You can choose to attend a year of social events and activities as often as you like, making new friends, exploring new interests and sharing new experiences.
- You benefit from the services of each volunteer organizer who invest hundreds of hours per year dedicated to planning, posting and attending events

What do we use the fees for?
- Meetup Platform Subscription Costs.
- Expenses such as:
- Event supplies, party supplies, rental expenses, group social events (eg. picnics, ice cream socials) restaurant reservations charges, purchase of new and replacement boardgames and sports equipment
Code of Conduct:
We provide a fun community that is safe and welcoming. This is a social group and not a dating site. Unsolicited messages to members are not allowed.
Treat everyone in a respectful and welcoming fashion. No bullying, harassment, antagonizing, aggression, accusations, demeaning or insults towards any member. No member is permitted to distress other members, encourage drama and friction amongst members, and/or disturb members enjoyment with the group and events. These behaviors will not be tolerated and immediate expulsion from the group is possible.
Respect Volunteer Organizers:
They do their best and aim to deliver good value and great shared experiences. Please show respect and appreciation to all the volunteer organizers and owners for their time and effort.
Safety:
You will be responsible for your own safety and well being at all events. Organizers and Hosts, cannot be held responsible for your participation in any event.

- Karen will be your Welcome Host for group snowshoeing events (2 or more showshoers)
- Karen has purchased her season pass and always uses the free shuttle bus both ways
Free Shuttle:
A limited amount of snowshoe tickets include free shuttle bus access from 2 locations:- Rupert Skytrain, East Vancouver (free street parking)
- Parkgate Community Centre, North Vancouver (free street parking)

GROUP SNOWSHOEING:
This winter, when anyone wants to go group snowshoeing (i.e. using your season pass or pay as you go) simply direct message Karen or me, and we will post a new snowshoeing event with a specific day and time. Everyone else interested in going can sign up.
