Are you at least level A1/2 in German and want to improve your language skills? Or are you a native speaker looking for conversations with learners?
Our Aachen walking group invites you to put on your shoes, walk through the city, and practice your German while meeting new people. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️
What to expect:

City walks: We will walk through Aachen’s streets for about 1.5 hours.

Partner change: We will change conversation partners three times during the walk. Each conversation will last about 20 minutes. 🗣️

Language exchange: You will talk with different people and hear different accents. 🌎

When and Where:
We meet at 11:00 AM in front of the Elisenbrunnen fountain in Aachen.
Note:

The event is free. Correct grammar is not required.

If the weather is bad, we will move to a nearby café in Aachen. This will be announced in the chat.

Unsere Spaziergangsgruppe Aachen lädt dich ein, die Schuhe anzuziehen, durch die Stadt zu laufen und dabei Deutsch zu üben und neue Leute kennenzulernen. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️
Was dich erwartet:

Stadtspaziergänge: Wir laufen ca. 1,5 Stunden durch die Straßen von Aachen.

Partnerwechsel: Wir wechseln während des Spaziergangs dreimal den Gesprächspartner. Jede Unterhaltung dauert ca. 20 Minuten. 🗣️

Sprachaustausch: Du sprichst mit verschiedenen Personen und hörst unterschiedliche Akzente. 🌎

Wann und wo:
Wir treffen uns um 11:00 Uhr vor dem Elisenbrunnen in Aachen.

Bei schlechtem Wetter gehen wir in ein nahegelegenes Café in Aachen. Das wird im Chat bekannt gegeben.

This workshop is a safe, supportive space to help you do the same, to connect with your deepest goals, get clear on what you want, and bring those dreams to life.

Vision boards are such a powerful way to manifest your goals. Honestly, I didn’t believe in them for a long time. Last year, I hit a really low place and felt completely helpless. Creating a vision board was the only way I could pour my heart out and really see what my life could look like. And the most amazing thing? Those dreams actually came true.

What to bring:

A belief in yourself and your dreams

A laptop (optional, if you want to create a digital vision board)

An open heart ready to envision your future

What to expect:

This event is a free, open, non-judgmental space where you can truly be yourself and reconnect with your deepest dreams. It’s not just about goal setting; it’s about connecting with you and also with others on a similar journey.

Throughout the meetup, you’ll have me by your side as a friendly guide and supporter, here to encourage you every step of the way.

I’m really pleased to host this event. I’m a big fan of AR, VR, and MR and also a researcher in this space. This is the first of many events I plan to organize, and I’d love for you to be part of it.

### What to Expect:

Try out the headsets: Currently confirmed are HoloLens 2 and Meta Quest 3

Explore a collection of curated AR/VR apps for smartphones and handheld devices (iOS & Android) — from fun demos to practical use cases

Explore some of the newest immersive technologies hands-on

Ask questions, experiment, and get curious whether you're new to AR/VR or already exploring ideas

I'll be there as your guide, fan, and tech supporter!

I may add more devices, but I’ll confirm what’s available closer to the event. So please RVSP mindfully, and it could help me with arranging new gadgets.

Join us for the magical Christmas Market inside the Gemeentegrot caves in Valkenburg, the largest underground Christmas markets in Europe!

Wander through beautifully decorated tunnels filled with festive stalls, twinkling lights, unique gifts, and delicious seasonal treats, all set in a historic limestone cave beneath Valkenburg Castle.

Event Details:

Ticket Price: €9 (includes entrance to the market). Please buy it here beforehand, as buying it on the spot is not possible.

Age Requirement: 18 years and older

Meeting Point: Either directly at the caves or starting together from Aachen (final details to be shared closer to the date)
