Meet at hotel parking lot. Car pool to Route 52! Start a 10 mile hike! Dogs ok if another person will transport!

Quick 6 miles in Valley Forge, covering as many hills as I can get in in that time usually three or four. Quick pace somewhere around 2.82 3.0 mph.

No dogs unless it’s Brandi or a dog I’m familiar with.

Parts of the red trail are Pretty rocky and parts of Wolfie are pretty rocky.

Friday night special, 6 miles through the Bentley preserve and Templin Woods. This is quite scenic and not many people hike through here. Mostly rolling Hills.

You might wanna get a photo of the sun going down across the pond.

There’s a lot of bird activity at Bentley preserve. Keep your eyes open and you’ll probably see some that you don’t normally see. There is a purple Martin birdhouse for example.

The hike will be at a quick pace somewhere between 2.8 and 3.0 mph and order to get it all in before dark.

We will meet at the barn at the top of the hill.

READ THIS WHOLE THING BEFORE TAKING ACTION. VERY EXPERIENCED HIKERS ONLY TO BE CONSIDERED.
I’m gonna start at 3 AM. I’m not sure what day it’s gonna be Tuesday Wednesday Thursday or maybe Friday. Depends on the weather and on who I can get to To Go with me.

THIS HIKE IS HARD, AND I MEAN DIFFICULT. IT WILL TEST YOUR WILL.

STARTS AT THE BASE OF OLD SPECK mtn in Maine FOLLOWS THE AT UNTIL IT DIVERGES WITH THE mahoosuc trail, ENDING IN Gorham NH

EXPECT TO BE ON THE TRAIL FOR 22 HOURS.

I am looking for at least one perhaps two crazy individuals to do this with me. Possibly could do half but that means you will either start at 3 AM and end about 1 PM and head down by yourself to where we have put a car. If you do half you have to expect it to be about 17 miles and it will take you about 14 hours.

Or you will be planting that car hiking up several miles and meeting me at about 1 PM on the trail and continuing the rest of the way.
As a Hiker, there is no way to do this hike quickly.
I will not average 2 miles an hour. I don’t believe no matter how hard I try.

We must basically stick together mostly as a group. This is a rugged remote area. It is very rocky and you will definitely be pounding your knees.

If you would like to be considered for this, put yourself on the waitlist and make sure you are available either by message or by phone to discuss qualifying hikes, you might have done recently.

Be aware ,I will be very picky about who I go with and with very good reason.
