ABOUT: A legendary wild boar that promises good fortune, Shakespeare standing with some of his characters, wartime Australian servicewomen, the Greek god Apollo with other mythological associates, an anchor and cannon preserved from "HMS Sirius" that set sail from England to Australia in 1787, and much more - discover the fascinating fountains, statues and installations in CBD along with their stories on Saturday, December 27.

MEETING TIME: 11:15 – 11:45 AM.

MEETING POINT: Outside “Customs House”, 31 Alfred St, Sydney NSW 2000 (close to Circular Quay station). We will assemble at the corner at Loftus Street. You are welcome to buy coffee/snacks from the McDonald’s nearby before the walk begins.

START AND PROGRAMME: We will begin between 11:45 AM and 12 Noon from Customs House, moving towards Museum of Sydney, the Royal Botanic Garden, Hyde Park, QVB… Break midway for those who want to grab drinks and snacks.

END: We will end the walk around 3 PM near Martin Place.

PRICE OF TOUR: Please pay $20 by cash on arrival.

• Please check transport in advance, and make sure you sleep well the night before so you can reach the meeting point on time in the morning.
• Remember to have a good breakfast before arriving which can keep you going during the early afternoon.

• Wear comfortable shoes, a hat or cap, sun protection. Please bring a water bottle and an umbrella.

ABOUT: Enjoy a fun tour of Newtown – Sydney’s bohemian suburb – on Sunday, December 28. Explore fancy shops with retro items, vintage clothing, artisanal objects, even arcana. Discover vibrant street art – out on the main street and inside hidden alleys. Listen to the fascinating stories behind some of the murals. Relax in a popular picnic spot. Make new friends in the process!

MEETING TIME: 11:10 – 11:30 AM.

MEETING POINT: Meet outside "Hui Bro's Cafe & Skewers", 326 King Street, 1, Newtown, NSW 2042. Right next to Newtown station entry/exit off King Street. You are welcome to buy a coffee.

START AND PROGRAMME: We will begin between 11:30 – 11:45 AM, moving towards the shops on King Street, then exploring a wide variety of street art. Later, a park.

END: We will get back to Newtown station by 2:45 PM. You can stop for drinks and snacks and more chatting with group members, if interested.

Explore multiple sections of the Art Gallery of NSW - in the "Naala Nura" and "Naala Badu" buildings. Learn the stories behind some of the great historic and contemporary artworks in one of Australia's most prominent museums. Browse through the artistic items and books in the gallery shop. Grab a quick bite or drink in the gallery café. Make new friends!

END: We will finish by 1:15 PM.
