It’s not necessary to have good artistic ability for a successful nature journal—it’s about observing nature and creating a meaningful record for yourself. This session will instruct beginners in which supplies/tools you can use and how easy it is to start keeping a record of your nature experiences. The workshop, with teacher naturalist Robin Sperry, will include at least one hour on the grounds journaling in several different areas of the preserve or practicing inside if the weather is inclement. Each participant will get a basic journal and pencil/pen. Cost: Rancocas Nature Center members/$25; non-members/$30.
