SHARE THE ROAD WITH CAROL
523 Ridge Rd, Windsor, ME, USThe tenth annual Share The Road With Carol is an all-ages commemorative ride planned for September 20, 2026 in Windsor and Whitefield, Maine to honor the memory of Carol Eckert, M.D. Carol was tragically killed as a result of a bike accident that occurred in Windsor on October 10, 2016. The ride has 12- and 27-mile options and begins and ends at the Windsor Town Office (523 Ridge Road). There is one rest stop on the 27-mile route.
This is a great opportunity to explore the rolling hills along the border of Kennebec and Lincoln Counties. Biking was Carol's passion. Whether you knew her or not, we invite everyone who feels the same to join in remembrance of a life well-pedaled and to further the cause of bicycle safety in Maine. Registration is now open at www.bikereg.com/share-the-road-with-carol. The registration fee is $20 for adults or $10 for those under 15 years of age. Although you must register to ride, this is not a fundraiser.
This is our 10th anniversary year. This year we are we’ll be giving out ReflecToes reflective socks to the first 65 registrants. And we are raffling off 10 pairs of reflective bands, a bicycle wreath, and a $50 rainbow cycle gift certificate. I hope to see everyone on September 20th!!

WOW Cirque Kalabante-Dinner before show
Waterville Opera House, 1 Common Street,, Waterville, ME, USOn Sale to Members: Tuesday, May 26 at 10am
On Sale to Public: Tuesday, June 2 at 10am
Tickets: $57–$67Get ready for a vibrant stage experience that transcends language itself! WOW (World of Word) is more than a show — it’s an encounter, a bridge between two worlds.
Imagine a stage where ancestral African wisdom captivates the audience. Separated by a symbolic line, one group shares its knowledge through powerful storytelling, hypnotic songs, and ritual initiation, while the other receives and learns — sometimes with fear, sometimes in resistance.
The exchange begins with the obstacle of spoken language, quickly overtaken by the universal force of gesture, rhythm, and sound. The set and its ropes become a language of their own: double Dutch skipping, bungee straps, and rope-based contortion turn into pathways of communication, pulsing with dialogue. Three guiding figures—Trust (W), Respect (O), and Wisdom (W) lead the journey.
Through acrobatic contact and moments of mutual support, the dividing line fades. Bodies merge, blending tradition with contemporary movement. The finale erupts into a choreography of unity and collective awakening: the journey itself becomes a revelation.
