What we’re about
For good or bad, the Matrix is coming. The Internet of Things. IoT. What is it and why does it matter?
According to Global Standards Initiative, IoT is the global infrastructure for the information society, enabling advanced services by interconnecting (physical and virtual) things based on existing and evolving interoperable information and communication technologies.
Essentially, IoT is about connectivity and data, and its evolving ecosystem is driven by mobility and convergence. Whether you're a software developer, hardware engineer or tech evangelist, it's up to us to shape the future.
What we want to become, Star Trek or Skynet (Terminator), starts here.

Ron Dagdag
(https://www.linkedin.com/in/rondagdag/)with 7-Eleven, Inc.
(https://www.7-eleven.com/)will present:
Most IoT data isn’t tidy time-series. It’s messy images from edge cameras, PDFs from field service, audio from support calls, and long videos from inspections. In this session, we’ll turn that unstructured content into structured events your IoT apps can actually use.
We’ll walk the Analyzer flow in Azure AI Content Understanding, then run demos: extract fields from maintenance forms and invoices, summarize phone/radio calls, and segment inspection videos into searchable scenes tied to assets.
You’ll leave with an edge-to-cloud reference pipeline you can wire into alerts, search, analytics, and automation.
